Abstract

554,780. Garment hangers. KRANTZ, M. June 1, 1942, No. 7397. [Class 52 (v)] A garment hanger of the centrally supported yoke type is provided with a detachable tubular cover of textile or other sheet material. The cover may be in two parts 10, 11, of which the part 11 has tabs 13 to enclose the hook stem 14 and the part 10 a tab 16 to connect the parts together by a press-stud 17 or other fastening. The parts may be formed as tubular members by folding and sewing along the top. The cover may be formed in one piece fitted over the hook and closed beneath by a sliding stringer fastening or by buttons &c.
