Wearing-apparel for shampooing. - A protective garment for use when the hair is being washed, and for drying the hair, comprises a length of towelling I having a neck hole A near its centre which is provided with draw tapes so as to fit the neck closely. The sides are fitted with fastenings F, G by means of which they may be closed round the body. The central part is of double thickness, the two thicknesses being provided with vents B at different points so as to form overlapping flaps secured by a button D.
