[Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Groups XIV and XVII] The mould 6 for a cup, mug or the like, is formed with a recess 6a which is stepped from the upper surface downwards, whereby a solid handle 5, simulating in side view a pierced handle, may be formed and the moulded cup &c. may be lifted straight out of the mould.
