[Class 87 (i)] In a machine for making hollow-ware in which clay 12 in a mould 11 I is first shaped by a tool 13 and then has its edge trimmed by an adjustable tool 20, the tool 20 in the form of a wire is extended at 22 into the article so as to finish the inside as well as the upper edge of the rim. A flat portion 23 tends to collect the fragments of clay removed.
