Abstract

552,338. Electric heaters. BURT, F. E., and RELY-A-BELL BURGLAR & FIRE ALARM CO., Ltd. Nov. 21, 1941, No. 15043. [Class 39 (iii)] An electric heater suitable for use in a drying cabinet comprises metal tubes A with porcelain, glass or fireclay rings B, or a continuous tube, containing a helical resistance wire C. The tubes are connected to junction boxes D which are connected together by transverse tubes E containing the conducting leads. One of the conducting leads extends through a tube A<SP>1</SP> between the tubes A. The flat grid thus formed, mounted on runners K or rollers, may be fitted into the lower part of a fur-drying cabinet, or the grid may have upwardly extending portions at each end, adjacent to the sides of the cabinet.
