[Class 44] [Also in Group XI] A pendant lighting or other fitting such as a trough-shaped reflector 1 is supported by two or more members having threaded ends 6 which are inserted through openings 4 in saddle-pieces 2 on the, reflector to receive nuts 7. The reflector is then lowered on to the nuts, the rotation of which is prevented by lugs or flanges 5 on the saddlepieces. Securing nuts 8 may be screwed down on to the tops of the saddle-pieces. In a modification the opening 4 is formed as a slot extending from the side of the saddle-piece. The supporting members may be tubes extending from the ceiling bracket, or other object, or be formed as hooks engaging suspending chains.
