Abstract

546,107. Blankets. MUIRHEAD, J. T. Jan. 8, 1942, No. 315. [Class 142 (iv)] [Also in Group XVII] A blanket is provided with buttons 2, 2a, Fig. 1, and button-holes, 3 3a and 4 or other co-operating fastenings such as loops or links enabling it when folded to assume a baglike form adapted to serve as a sleeping bag &c. The folding takes place along a line 7 offset from the median line 5, the free marginal portion so afforded being buttoned over the uppermost fold, and subsequently along the transverse line 6, affording the appearance of Fig. 4. The blanket may be lined or covered and quilted or two blankets may be superposed and sewn together with lining material interposed if desired.
