388,685. Sleeping-coverings. THEXTON, A. L., 5, Tuxedo Place, Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A. Sept. 9, 1932, No. 25198. [Class 133.] A sleeping-cover for children comprises an upper part adapted to envelope the chest and shoulders and having at each side of the neck opening 8 an upwardly-extending pocket 2 to accommodate the arms and hands in a position raised above the head, and a lower part of single thickness to cover the remainder of the body, the margins of the lower part being adapted to be tucked beneath the mattress. The cover, which is conveniently made by folding and cutting a blanket, has the edges joined by a sliding-clasp fastener 5 to within a short distance of the neck opening where an additional underpiece 9 and a neckband with a button adapted to engage one of a series of buttonholes are provided. Loops 13 are provided for pinning the cover to the bed. The Figure shows the underside of the cover.
