544,410. Revolving cylinder pump. DANIELS, L. E., and READ, B. N. Aug. 9, 1940, No. 12770. Addition to 522,991. [Class 102 (i)] In a pump in which pistons h reciprocate in cylinders formed by radial slots g in a rotary member f, as described in the parent Specification, each piston is moved by means of an arcuate slipper member j, or a pair of such members, pivotally mounted on the piston and travelling in a guide channel k formed eccentrically in one or both of the fixed casing members a, b of the pump. The slipper members j may be secured to the pistons h by cylindrical or stepped pins i,'and they may be provided with open grooves m to equalize the pressure on their two end faces. The pistons h and slots g may be square in cross-section.
