In the pump of the parent Specification, torque transmission between the cylinder block 38 and the wear plate 108 is effected by dowels 200, the counter bores in the wear plate passages being omitted and the wear plate ends of the cylindrical sleeves 128a being flush with the surface of the wear plate.
