449,269. Hydraulic transmission of power. REYNOLDS, D. T., Mana, Bishops Road, Trumpington, Cambridge. Jan. 24, 1936, No. 4121. [Class 69 (ii)] In hydraulic power transmission devices, the endless passage 8 connecting a pair of cylinders is provided with controllable valves 9, 10 opening in the same direction so that the liquid flows always in one direction. When two or more pairs of cylinders each with a separate passage and valves are employed, a common cam 7 acts on all the pistons.
