Abstract

543,696. Windscreen wipers. TRICO PRODUCTS CORPORATION. Jan. 24, 1941, No. 964. Convention date, Jan. 24, 1940. [Class 138 (i)] A windscreen wiper comprises diametrically opposite blades rotated at such a speed as to be almost invisible and pressed on to the surface by centrifugal force, means being provided for supplying a liquid to the surface. The blades 23 are mounted on arms 22 furnished with weighted offset ends 24 and carried on a shaft 5 driven by worm gearing 8 and projecting through the windscreen 2. The shaft is carried in a casing supported by tubular members 13, 15 through one of which passes the driving shaft 10 while the other carries a pipe 34 for supplying the liquid which passes along grooves 30 and through radial ports 31.
