539,172. Securing impellers on shafts. NASH ENGINEERING CO. June 3, 1940, No. 9709. Convention date, May 25, 1939. [Class 80 (ii)] [Also in Group XXVI] In a centrifugal or other pump, the impeller I is made of anti - corrosive material, such as glass, and its hub 75 is connected to the driving shaft C by a hollow spindle 522 keyed to the shaft and bonded to the hub by a solder &c. which enters cavities in the hub and on the outer surface of the spindle.
