Abstract

542,533. Spray-producers. SADD, J. A., and KINGAN, R. July 29, 1940, No. 12288. [Class 69 (iii)] Liquid spraying apparatus comprises in combination a rotary member a of wire mesh having its lower part immersed in liquid, means for rotating the member, and one or more jets c, close to a part of the member which is out of the liquid through which air or gas is blown under pressure. Replaceable jets may be employed to vary the character of the spray. The apparatus shown is designed for impregnating granular material in a hollow cylinder which may be mounted over an aperture e in the upper part of a chamber f into which the spray is blown by the jet.
