Abstract

542,447. Trouser &c. presses. CHALLIS, P. July 10, 1940, No. 11462. [Class 141] A trouser press comprises at least three independent boards A-D, preferably of fibre or like flexible material, the two outer boards carrying at one end press stud members F. F' adapted to be engaged after passing through holes G, G' in the intermediate board or boards, and at the other end the lower board has secured to it straps J each carrying one member H' of a strap fastening adapted to engage with the other member H on the upper board. The top and bottom boards are off-set at one end to accommodate the turn-up of the trousers. Clips K pivoted to the lower board may be provided to engage the intermediate board or boards. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 12780/96, 1927/00 and 16470/09, [all in Class 141].
