Abstract

542,033. Slabs, special shapes. BALDWIN & CO., Ltd., H. J., and BYERS, E. V. June 21, 1940, No. 10659. [Class 87 (i)] Slabs for protecting buried electric cables are provided with hook-shaped projections 11, Figs. 2 and 3, at one end and mating recesses 12 at the other. The slabs are provided with holes 14 and grooves 15 for the insertion of locking members 13. The projection may be cut away as shown at 11c in Fig. 5, the recess being shaped to match.
