541,311. Locks. WILSON, D. July 23, 1940, No. 12061. [Class 44] A lock has levers (four shown at d, d<1>, d<2>, d<3>), pivoted at e, each lever having a pair of pins f, f<1>, one at each end. In the'unlocked position shown, to which the levers are brought by a key i against the action of springs g, the ends of both pins on each lever are just clear of the bolt a. In all other angular positions of each lever one or other of its pins engages a slot, c on c<1>. formed in the bolt so release cannot be effected by a key which rocks one or more of the levers to little or too much. One or both of each pair of pins may be adjustable, as by a tubular portion h<1>, Fig. 6, screwing on to a stem h. The bolt may be operated by a knob k, or by a second key.
