540,934. Photographic projection printer; colour photography. KODAK, Ltd. (Eastman Kodak Co.). Dec. 31, 1940, No. 4809/41. Divided out of 540,931. [Classes 98 (i) and 98 (ii)] A photographic projection printer has a horizontal transparency gate and a vertical printing gate, and the image formed by the objective may be viewed by a system comprising a removable reflector capable of being positioned in front of the printing gate to reflect the image upwardly on to a horizontal viewing screen, above which is another reflector which reflects the image on the screen horizontally over the transparency gate for viewing from a position above and near the gate. The apparatus described forms part of the projection apparatus for making colour prints described in Specification 540,931, in which a viewing chamber carrying the screen and mirrors, and also a lens which reduces the size of the image on the screen, is mounted on horizontal rails on which it can be moved by an electric motor between its operative and inoperative positions in front and to one side of the printing gate.
