528,952. Photographic copying and optical projection apparatus. KODAK, Ltd. May 18, 1939, No. 14822. Convention date, May 18, 1938. [Classes 97 (i) and 98 (i)] An apparatus for copying documents and also for optical projection comprises an openfronted casing 1 on the top of which are mounted a copying camera 8 and a projector 9, the axis of the former being perpendicular to a copy-holder 5 in the casing and the axis of the latter being perpendicular to an inclined screen 30 which is movable from the operative position shown to an inoperative position, so that a document on the copy-holder may be photographed. In the apparatus shown the viewing screen 30 is hinged to the back wall of the casing, against which it is folded when in the inoperative position. It carries hinged flaps 33 for covering openings 28 in the side walls of the casing intended to facilitate manipulation of documents in the copy-holding well 5. Specification 526,296 is referred to.
