[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, May 27, 1940.] [Class 20 (ii)] The shutterings for external concrete walls, cast in situ, are supported at their lower ends on angle bars 18 bolted to the footings 11 and are spaced apart at their upper ends by anglebar spacers 39, which have depending portions 89 to engage between the side shutters 24 and spaced cores, the side shutters being stiffened by external bracing bars. The cores are expandable and each comprises side plates 62, 63, articulated at their ends to shaped end-members 65 which are connected by links 74, 78 to a vertically movable bar 69 which has mounted on it an upper wedge-shaped stop 70, and intermediate stop 84 and a lower stop 85, which are forced between angle bars 81 secured to the inner sides of the opposed core side plates and serve to maintain them in expanded position after they have been expanded by their connections to the end plates of the core. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also forms of panel outer shuttering stiffened by trusses, forms of connectors to be placed between the adjacent ends of cores to position them, cam means for adjusting the heights of the angle bar supports 18 for the outer shutters, adjustable box cores which may be adjusted by link gear in a similar manner to the wall cores and are used with the outer shuttering to form enclosing walls, and adjustable frame cores for use in forming door and window openings in cast walls. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
