540,066. Concrete paving and flooring. CONCRETE CASEHARDENING CO., Ltd., and BOULT, L. G. June 10, 1940, No. 10071. [Class 20 (iv)] In the construction of concrete floorings with a top granolithic stratum, a topping layer is applied as a wet mix including cement and an aggregate such as granite chips, and, before this layer is set the surface is wetted with a liquid hardener. Dry cement with or without aggregate may be added to the hardened surface prior to its setting. The topping layer of 1¢ inches is applied to a base concrete layer of firm 6 to 8 inches while the latter is still green or prior to its setting. Specification 516,401 is referred to.
