Abstract

538,383. Two-part couplings. ELECTROLUX, Ltd. Jan. 30, 1940, No. 1868. Convention date, Feb. 20, 1939. [Class 38 (i)] A socket member 10 having hollow contacts co-operating with plug contacts of oblong or flat section has apertures 17 arranged in an inclined position and formed by recesses in the two parts of the housing that fit together on the plane 20, Fig. 2. The parts may be identical and interfit by means of projections 21 but if the appertures 17 are inclined in opposite directions as shown in Fig. 4 the two parts of the housing may abut on a plane 25 passing through the angles of the apertures.
