[Class 87 (i)] A hollow building block of concrete which may be of the dimensions 2ft. x 9inch. x 9inch. has side walls a projecting beyond the end walls a<SP>1</SP> providing recesses a<SP>2</SP> and there are holes a<SP>3</SP> of about 4inches diameter in the end walls to take reinforcement rods previous to filling the spaces of the completed wall with cement &c. A corner block, Fig. 4, has the recess a<SP>2</SP>x and hole a3x in the side wall and Fig. 5 shows another modification with an interlocking projection on the end wall
