[Class 44] A pivoted jaw clip for suspending curtains &c. in which the curtain gripping jaws are closed by a spring 6 arranged about the pivot pin 5 and are opened, as shown in Fig. 3, by nipping the arms 2, 3, the arms 2, 3 are of arcuate form to provide, when closed, a sleeve embracing the supporting pole, wire &c. and are flared at the edges 8 to provide a convex surface to facilitate sliding the device along the support. Preferably arm 2 is longer than and overlaps arm 3 to provide a gap 9 through which the support may be inserted. Pivot pin 5 may be disposed nearer to arm 3 than to arm 2, to increase the gap formed.
