Abstract

531,620. Fusible cut-outs. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. July 5, 1939, No. 19575. Convention date, July 6, 1938. [Class 38 (i)] A fuse cartridge is of rectangular prismatic form with the terminal contacts lying in the direction of its width so that cartridges of different lengths may be inserted between the fixed base contacts. The cartridge d has two fuse chambers covered by plates f, g separated by an insulating rib h and bent twice at right angles to lie against adjacent walls of a chamber and form the terminal lugs k, m. The fusible elements may be arranged as described in Specification 528,394.
