530,542. Propelling aircraft. JUNKERS FLUGZEUG - UND - MOTORENWERKE AKT.-GES. June 27, 1939, No. 18662. Convention date, July 9, 1938. Addition to 506,699. Drawings to Specification. [Class 4] Exhaust pipes of an aero-engine constructed as described in the parent Specification are surrounded by a stream-lined cowling to prevent the exhaust gases from entering the craft. In one form, the pipes protrude laterally from the aircraft body and the cowling is of the usual stream-lined form and in a modification the cowling is surrounded by a further cowling having openings at its leading and trailing edges.
