529,474. Transfers. INTERNATIONAL LATEX PROCESSES, Ltd. June 1, 1939, No. 16150. Convention date, June 8, 1938. Drawings to Specification. [Class 100 (ii)] [Also in Group V] A transfer for applying a decorative surface or label to a rubber surface is formed by coating a carrier such as a paper sheet with a continuous film of transparent rubber, and applying a design thereon. A thin outer coating of rubber which may be coloured may be applied. The transfer is applied to a vulcanized or unvulcanized surface, an adhesive being used if necessary, and the paper backing is removed before or after vulcanization. The rubber layers are formed by spraying or spreading latex compositions which may be coagulated by heat or acid.
