528,660. Cleaning pipes. DOWNIE, C. E., and THOMSON, D. N. May 12, 1939, No. 14167. [Class 99 (ii)] Apparatus for cleaning hose pipes comprises a C-shaped pipe A connected at its centre to a water supply B and at its ends to cocks C which have exhaust pipe connections E and fittings D to which are connected the ends of the hose G to be cleaned. A brush R is propelled through the hose, and stops N and inspection panels L are provided. The cock levers H are connected by a link K for simultaneous operation to effect a reversal of flow through the hose.
