[Class 131] The cutting blade of an electric hair clipper, shaver or the like is actuated by an armature 4 vibrated by a coil 2 connected ir series with a source of alternat ing current and a half-wave rectifier 1 of the dry contac type. As shown the rectifier : consists of two half-wave recti fiers each connected in serie: with a coil 2. The rectifier may be located on a wall or in other suitable position instead of in the handle of the shaver.
