[Class 49] In the reduction of farinaceous vegetable, e.g., potato, to dry powder, wherein the vegetable is first boiled, dry powder obtained from the same vegetable is added either to the freshly boiled vegetable, or to the boiled vegetable after it has been reduced to a damp powder, .before the final drying step. The mixture containing the dry powder may be treated in vacuo. Specification 496,423 is referred to.
