In one form Fig. 1, the switch arms 1 are inclined to a common insulating driving shaft 3. In an alternative form, Fig. 2, the switch arms 1 are mounted on separate shafts 7 geared to a common driving shaft. Potential distribution over the several units is is equalized by resistances 4 connected as shown.
