[Class 51 (ii)] Articles are conveyed through a continuous furnace on staggered rows of large overlapping discs projecting through separate slots in the furnace base and mounted on transverse shafts located in a chamber therebeneath. Discs at the exit end of the furnace are driven faster than the others.
