Abstract

520,719. Sterilizing apparatus. DOMINITZ, C. J. June 23, 1939, No. 18328. [Class 81 (i)] A sterilizer, particularly for use in hairdressing establishments or dental surgeries, comprises a casing a having a removable cover f, and a removable tray b, adapted to contain a dry volatile disinfectant such as thymol, provided with a perforated cover c upon which the articles to be disinfected are placed. The casing a may be formed of glass, metal, porcelain or artificial resin, and the lid f may be provided with a flange g which may dip into a liquid seal. The cover c may be removably attached to the tray b by a cord or wire e secured by a seal. The casing a may be in the form of a wall cabinet, the lid f being replaced by a door. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 17905/03, [Class 81].
