[Class 20 (iii)] Window raising and lowering mechanism comprises a lever a pivoted at its free end to an intermediate portion of a link f, one end of which is pivoted to a slide q on a guide r, the other end being pivoted to a bracket i attached to a channel-bar j which supports the window g, and a second link s pivoted at its ends to the slide and bracket, respectively, and adapted to form a parallel link with the link f. The lever a may be attached to a toothed sector-plate b adapted to be driven through a gear c and handle d, or the sector-plate may be driven direct from a handle.
