516,989. Minimizing interference. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., and LONG, A. L. July 15, 1938, No. 21078. [Class 40 (iv)] In .a, system involving a number of carrier lines T, T, and a number of voice-frequency or telegraph lines L running parallel, all the voicefrequency &c. lines are run in one cable S 1 and the carrier lines are run partly in this and partly in another cable S, cross connections being made at and between repeater points so that only the high-level parts of the carrier,lines are run in the cable S1 containing the voice frequency lines.
