516,924. Wireless receiving apparatus. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE. July 13, 1938, No. 20712. Convention date, July 13, 1937. [Class 40 (v)] [Also in Group XXXVI] An iron-cored coil L and a trimmer condenser B<1>, B<2> are mounted co-axially on opposite sides of a ceramic plate P, apertures in the condenser and plate P enabling the core E to be adjusted by a screwdriver from the same side as the condenser. The latter comprises two semi-circular coatings B<1> B<2> on the plate P and the rotatable ceramic plate A, on which a polygonal boss Z is provided for adjustment. Fig. 2 shows a combination tool for adjusting both the core and condenser, the spanner portion HJR engaging Z while a screwdriver KC engages slot S. The shaft M is provided with a graduated scale to determine the adjustment of core E. G is an iron screening case for the coil.
