Abstract

248,559. Taylor, A. R. March 4, 1925. Wireless tuning-apparatus, adjustment devices for. - An extension handle E for facilitating fine adjustment of the knob A, of a variable condenser, variometer, coilholder, &c., is pivoted at F to a U-shape member D, which is rotatably mounted upon the knob A. Coarse adjustment is effected by turning the knob in the usual manner, while fine adjustment is obtained by pressing on the handle E, against the action of a spring S, so that a part H frictionally engages the knob A, whereupon the knob is constrained to rotate with the handle E. In a modification, the handle is provided with a bifurcated end which embraces and is pivoted to a disc rotatably mounted on the knob A.
