516,916. Closures for powder and liquid distributers. ISOWITSKY, I. I. April 25, 1939, No. 12681/38. [Classes 18 and 125 (iii)] In a distributer for powders or liquids of the kind comprising a container 11 and a removable cap 14 with a pouring spout which is normally closed by a stopper 20 on the end of a spring- pressed lever 18, the stopper is shaped to project into the pouring orifice and the lever 18 is pivoted to a lug 16 mounted on the cap or container, both the lug and the lever being channelshaped so as to cover the spring 19 which may be either a bow spring or a helical twist spring. The lug may be integral with cap or container, or mounted pn a band or clip ring, and it may also embrace the flanges of the lever 18.
