Abstract

515,651. Street lighting. HOLOPHANE, Ltd., and ENGLISH, S. June 23, 1938, No. 18672. Drawings to Specification. [Class 75 (ii)] In a prismatic dome especially for street lighting the prisms are formed inside to prevent collection of dust thereon and the prisms interior surfaces and light source so arranged that it functions as a refractor. The prisms may be arranged in coaxial circular or in two arcuate groups. Specifications 380,318 and 408,366 are referred to.
