Abstract
515,096. Lamp-holders. WARD & GOLDSTONE, Ltd., and GOLDSTONE, S. May 23, 1938, No. 15278. [Class 38 (i)] A spring-pressed plunger contact f mounted on a conductor c such as is employed in a branching adapter a where the conductor is held between the halves of a moulded casing, has the plunger mounted on a finger d formed on the conductor and it is retained thereon by one or more claws h also formed on the conductor. The spring e which may abut on the end of the plunger or may be housed within it, is thus held in compression while the conductive unit is assembled in the casing. The conductor is bent downwardly at the centre so as to be free of the other conductor which may be of a Y-shape similar to the conductor c or may be in parts to allow connection through a switch.
