[Class 44] A clip fastening comprises a length of flexible cable 1 anchored at one end to an abutment 5, and having secured to it, at least at its other end, an open helix 3 of wire forming a screw thread and tightening means 7 engaging the abutment and the thread 3, and adapted to take up the cable. In another form, both ends of the cable have helixes on them, and are connected to opposite ends of a turnbuckle. Specification 380,204 is referred to.
