513,952. Preventing corrosion. BALLARD, W. E. April 23, 1938, No. 12210. [Class 123 (i)] Tanks for petrol and like liquids are coated internally with zinc by molten spraying, and then with a chromate or dichromate, preferably zinc chromate. A further layer of zinc, sufficiently thin to be porous to the liquid, may be added by spraying. Alternatively, the coating may be a mixture of zinc and chromate.
