[Class 7 (ii)] The volumes of the compressor, highpressure cylinder, low-pressure cylinder and a receiver between the compressor and highpressure cylinder conform to formulae which are given in the Specification. Adequate cooling is thereby effected in the receiver. A polar diagram in which the four parts are represented by concentric areas is used for determining their proportions.
