[Classes 37 and 38 (i)] The connection to the movable electrode, shown as moving axially, of a variable condenser is effected through a strip 11 provided with a hole 12 toothed at its edge, embracing a part of the electrode so that its teeth engage it resiliently. The part 6 engaged may have a conical seat for the teeth.
