[Classes 8 (i) and 8 (ii)] A vacuum cleaner is provided with a fine filter in the air stream between the dust bag 37 and the motor-fan unit, and a further fine filter in the stream between the fan and the outlet, as in the parent Specification, the two fine filters being intercommunicated, e.g., by constituting the sides and base of a filter bag 22, separated by a partition 32, to form an exchangeable unit. In a modification, the sides of the bag 22 are double held apart by a partition with rounded ends.
