[Class 77] In an inflatable life preserver a liquefied gas container 14 having a breakable tip 16 is fixedly held in a rubber socket 17 cemented to the envelope 10 and having an outlet 20, and serving both to retain the tip after breakage and as an expansion chamber protecting the envelope walls from freezing.
