Abstract

525,657. Electrical miners' lamps. STOPPEL, P., ROHNERT, H., and FRIEMANN & WOLF GES. Feb. 24, 1939, No. 6226. [Classes 39 (ii) and 75 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXVI] Instead of the bulb by itself screwing into a holder the bulb 7, the protective casing 8 containing inert pressure gas and the synthetic resin or like mounting 1 are as a unit screwed into a lamp socket. The gas can be introduced through the opening 17 and past the ball valve, the opening then being sealed up. A pressure tube 20 of the barometer type is used to break contact if pressure falls.
