[Class 83 (ii)] [Also in Group XXI] The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes various methods of manufacturing projectiles. Thus, a blank having a cylindrical interior cavity and walls which are thinned down in the region of the base 1c as shown in Fig. 13 (Cancelled) may be placed in a mould having the profile indicated by broken lines and caused to conform with the shape of the mould by the action of gas or hydraulic pressure. The forward portion of the projectile with thin walls may be shaped by the same process. The body of the projectile can also be moulded in a single operation by starting with a cylindrical hollow blank with walls of increasing thickness from rear to front, the blank being deformed by hydraulic pressure so as to shape the body with the profile shown in Fig. 16 (Cancelled). This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
