Abstract
444,211. Two-part couplings. CRABTREE, J. A., Endwood, Little Aston Park, Sutton Coldfield. Nov. 3, 1934, No. 31584. Addition to 405,023, [Group XI]. [Class 38 (i)] The electric-lamp holder described in the parent Specification is modified by providing the metal liner b with a system of bonding teeth which are disposed on the wall around the mouth edge of the liner to form a key for the insulating material c which is moulded thereon. The teeth extend around between the bayonet-slots e, and are preferably V-shaped. Apertures, which preferably open into or communicate with the slots e, may be provided at one or more points adjacent to each slot. The teeth may be formed integrally with a liner made from a tubular member or a flat blank bent into tubular shape, by cutting them in alignment with the body of the tube or blank and then bending them back on to the solid metal at the mouth of the liner.
