[Class 44] [Also in Group XXIII] A device for temporarily holding together two drilled sheets, comprises a spring member 5, 6, 7 of which the parts 5, 6 form a conical surface interrupted by a recessed portion 10 and a spear-headed rod 4 urged upwards by a spring 16. When the rod 4 is pressed downwards to remove the spear-head from between the parts 5, 6 the device can be inserted through holes in the sheets. When the rod 4 is released the spring 16 causes the spear-head to separate the parts 5, 6 and the plates are held. The strength of the spring can be varied by means of the nut 15.
